This department generates financial information for functions, regions and affiliates. Trainees have the possibility to fulfill a large variety of challenging tasks, e.g. by contributing to the definition of methods, processes and standards. You’ll not only experience harmonization and standardization of planning and reporting, but you’ll also gain deep insights into consolidation and risk management topics.
Functional Business Controlling
In the Functional Business Controlling department, you act as operational business partner and consult the functional managers in all financial questions. You’ll be involved in the development and evaluation of concepts and processes required to manage the performance and financial result of Beiersdorf business functions such as supply chain, international marketing or sales. You take over day-to-day business tasks and furthermore you are responsible for projects at the interface between Finance and its partners in the corresponding departments.
In marketing controlling you’ll assess international launch and re-launch concepts, you’ll be involved in product marketing plan preparation and evaluation, pricing and trade terms analyses and fixed cost management.
In supply chain controlling you will not only get to know the steering of Beiersdorf global production, logistics and procurement networks, but also the decision making for major investments, as well as the strategic project portfolio management and the monitoring of complex supply chain projects.
