Looking for an internship abroad in 2018? We’ve got something for you: Our International Internship Challenge (IIC) is aimed at young talents like you all around the world. In 2017 our annual event enters its fourth year. We are inviting 8 students for each of the functions of Finance & Controlling, Marketing & Sales as well as Supply Chain Management. For the first we open an exclusive track for Digital Marketing/Ecommerce talents. You can apply here until July 15th, 2017 to discover the world of innovative skin care at our Hamburg headquarters with 32 IIC finalists on September 18-19th, 2017. Two days you’ll not only get to know our brands like NIVEA, Eucerin and Labello, but also one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Hamburg. You’ll find out why the interplay of all functions is so important for us, gain insight into our Hamburg NIVEA tin production site and master various challenges such as a case study. The four winners of our International Internship Challenge 2017 will look forward to a fully-funded three-month internship abroad in one of our 150 affiliates. So join in and make the most of this one-time chance!

Mert, Riccarda and Anvar
Mert from Turkey, Ricarda from Germany & Anvar fom Russia, last year's IIC winners.

How the International Internship Challenge was for me

What were the three winners’ experiences from last year? And what tips do they have? Ricarda Schäfer (21) from Germany, who is currently on assignment as an intern in Materials Management in the Spanish plant in Argentona, says: “What I really liked about the IIC was the chance to get to know Beiersdorf and many of the people who work there during interesting activities, conversations and tasks. It was also really cool to meet 30 young people pursuing similar interests and goals.”

Anvar Babaev (22) from Russia, winner in Marketing & Sales, agreed. He’ll begin his internship in international Marketing in Hamburg at the end of May, “I am still really amazed about how open all the employees were and ready to share their experiences and valuable advice with us. Mert Ünal (23) from Turkey, the winner in Finance & Controlling, who currently is looking behind the curtain of R&D Controlling, says, “Try to enjoy the time during the competition and meet as many people as you can. Having a positive attitude will help you make a good impression.”
