Apart from that, you are part of an international trainee network working together on cross-functional projects and being supported by development measures such as training and mentoring. Are you ready for our trainee program?

We are looking for:

  • Graduates in Business administration or Economics, ideally with a major in the area of Digital Marketing/E-Commerce and an outstanding GPA
  • Min. 6 months of practical experience through appropriate internships
  • Min. 6 months of experience abroad gained within your studies or internships
  • Fluency in English, basic knowledge of German is recommendable

Steps of the BEYOND BORDERS Digital Marketing & E-Commerce program

  • BEYOND BORDERS – Digital Marketing & E-Commerce

    Local Digital Marketing / E-Commerce (4 months)

    In your first step you’ll get to know central elements in the digital business such as search engine marketing (SEO/SEA), Social Media, eCRM, content creation and onsite performance tracking. On top of that you will also become familiar with our overall eCommerce strategy and how to optimize our online presence.

  • BEYOND BORDERS – Digital Marketing & E-Commerce

    Tchibo – Online Germany (2 months)

    In this unique external step at Tchibo – our partner company and expert for online retail – you’ll get a cross-category perspective on E-Commerce and performance marketing. By looking into eCRM, Social Media and onsite marketing in a second company, you will substantially strengthen and broaden your expertise in the digital field.

  • BEYOND BORDERS – Digital Marketing & E-Commerce

    Global Digital Assignment (3 months)

    For your third step you will dive into one of our strategic digital departments at our Headquarters in Hamburg (e.g. global E-Commerce, brand activation or global digital marketing). You will not only get the opportunity to define the online brand positioning and digital campaigns on a global level, but you will also work closely with our agencies and international colleagues and therefore, learn how to deal with different suppliers and partners.

    International posting (6 months)

    While bringing your experience to our teams abroad, you will gain new perspectives on our business from a local point of view. Working in local digital marketing or E-Commerce will sharpen your awareness of cultural differences – an essential skill for leading people in a global and customer-oriented company such as Beiersdorf.

  • BEYOND BORDERS – Marketing & Sales

    Cross-functional assignment (3 months)

    This final step is when you literally go beyond borders and deepen your expertise in another department that interests you. You can round up your business understanding by getting to know, for example, classic Brand Management, Corporate Development, Sales, Finance & Controlling or Supply Chain Management.
