Beiersdorf Diversity & Inclusion

“We care for your uniqueness!”: Today, on the 8th German Diversity Day, Beiersdorf is launching the Diversity Days 2020 at Beiersdorf with a diverse digital program on the topic of “Unconscious Bias”. Employees are invited to attend virtual events, such as a live podcast on inclusive leadership with our top management, a webinar to better understand your own prejudices and stereotypes, and guided meditations to feel and embrace your own uniqueness. Further digital activities from the international Beiersdorf world will follow until June 5.

New visual language symbolizes uniqueness and community

In addition, our Diversity & Inclusion Team is also celebrating its new visual identity today: For the umbrella of all D&I initiatives that are involved in the individual dimensions of diversity within the company, the newly developed visual language symbolizes the wealth of facets and ideas of all people on this earth – in their uniqueness and in their collective work.

Why Diversity & Inclusion is so important to us

We’re all different. And that’s a good thing. This diversity of people and their opinions and cultures has positive effects for us as a company, for our employees and consumers. Because colorful teams can solve problems more efficiently thanks to their different perspectives and also reflect the diversity of our consumers. This results in innovations that meet the different needs of consumers even better.
Open, honest, and respectful cooperation has a long tradition at Beiersdorf. Equality – regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation, or identity – is an integral part of our Company. Our long-term goal is to firmly establish diversity as a performance indicator throughout the Company. Because each individual contributes to Beiersdorf’s success with his or her individuality!

In this spirit: “We care for your uniqueness!”
