How do I know if a position I'm interested in has already been filled and when can I apply?

The job advertisements are regularly updated so that all vacancies advertised on our careers page are vacant.

How can I find out more about the start date of the open position?

If there is nothing to the contrary in the job description, we are usually looking to fill vacancies as soon as possible.

I didn’t find a job offer, which suits my interest. Can I send a speculative application?

Unfortunately, we do not accept speculative applications. The job advertisements on our homepage are always up to date. Set up a "Job Alert", which will inform you by e-mail about new jobs in the area in which you are interested.

Can I also apply in writing (by post?) or by e-mail?

No, please apply exclusively online via our application system. Applications submitted elsewhere cannot be considered.

What do I have to pay attention to when applying?

You should upload your CV, your last university or school education certificate and relevant professional references or samples (if available). If you wish, you can also attach a current photo. But beware! The total size of all uploaded documents should not exceed 5 MB!

Should I enclose a cover letter with my application?

No, in most cases we do not need a cover letter anymore. If we do, it is explicitly mentioned in the job advertisements.

I have applied before. Can I apply again?

Of course you can reapply. However, read the requirements for the position carefully again. Your experience, skills and competences should match with the job profile.

Can I interrupt my application and continue filling it out later?

After you have registered in our online application system, you will receive the login data for your application account by e-mail. This allows you to log in or out of the system at any time. You can therefore continue with your application later - the entries made up to this point are retained before the termination.

What happens if I change my profile while my application is being reviewed?

All changes to your candidate profile take immediate effect and are also reflected in previous or current applications. Nevertheless, we would like to ask you to enter your data as carefully as possible before sending it.

Where can I see the current status of my application?

Log into the Beiersdorf Career Center. Under "Application" you will find your current application status. We have sent you the registration data by e-mail after your registration.

What is the application process and when can I expect feedback?

As soon as you have sent us your application via our online application system, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt of your application by e-mail.
Our recruiters will contact you as soon as possible. Depending on the position and the required consultation with the department, however, it may take some time. Therefore, please have patience and understanding if it takes some time to receive feedback.

Do I have to complete online assessments for my application?

Depending on the position you are applying for, we would like to ask you to take part in an online assessment (e.g. self-description of your personality using a questionnaire, participating in a test for analytical thinking, etc.). With the help of these assessments, we want to gain a comprehensive picture of you and offer you the opportunity to show your qualifications beyond your CV. We never look at your responses in isolation, but only in combination with our personal impressions from the entire application process. With the use of online assessments, we meet quality standards of personnel selection as specified in DIN 33430, which increases objectivity and fairness in the application process for you.

Who can view my entered data and how long will it remain stored?

Your data can be viewed by our Beiersdorf Human Resources employees and by the department responsible for the relevant position. Otherwise, only you can access your data. Once you have approved your profile in our online career center, you alone decide how long it should be available. If you do not want to make your data available, you can block your profile - and then you are no longer "visible" to us. Alternatively, you can delete your entire registration - i.e. your data is also deleted for us. However, if you have deleted your entire registration, you will have to re-enter all relevant data if you apply to Beiersdorf again at a later date. All details regarding our data protection can be found in our data protection statement.

What happens if I withdraw my application?

If you no longer wish to be considered for a position, please withdraw your application. You can reapply at any time.

What is the application process for interns?

As soon as you have submitted your online application, you will receive an automatic confirmation that we have received your application. The further application process consists of an online test, a delayed video interview and a personal introduction. Since many jobs or applications involve more than one team or department, we will also consider your application for further vacancies. We know that this process is lengthy for you. We therefore ask you to inform us if you withdraw your application because you have accepted another internship.

What should I include with my application for an internship?

Please enclose your university degree certificate, all relevant intermediate certificates, an overview of the degrees you have obtained and all references relevant to your profession and internship.

When is the BEYOND BORDERS trainee program advertised?

We advertise the program several times a year, but have no fixed starting dates. The best way to do this is to set up a "job alert" in our job exchange.

What is the application process for the BEYOND BORDERS trainee program?

Technical FAQ

What are the requirements for a password?

Your password needs to be at least 8 characters long, must contain at least one upper and one lower case letter, one number and one special character.

What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

You will find a “Forgotten Password” link underneath the login fields. Please enter your username and/or the email address that you submitted when registering on the following page. Within a few minutes, you will receive a new password, which you will need to change the next time you login. 

What should I do if I cannot access the system and an error message appears?

Are you still online? Is your Internet connection still active? Are pop-ups or JavaScript deactivated in your browser? That you can fix by changing the settings in your browser settings. If this does not work, contact our Technical Support (Hotline: +49-40-4909-3000).

Which formats and file sizes are suitable for document upload?

For technical reasons you are only able to upload Microsoft Office, tif, png, and PDF files. Please do not upload more than 5 MB altogether. Please note that you should avoid ZIP files or password-protected files as they cannot be processed! We recommend converting your documents into PDF format – you can find a number of free PDF conversion tools online

What should I do if I have forgotten my username?

If you've forgotten your username, please contact our Technical Support using this e-mail form. They will then get in touch with you as quickly as possible.
