Application FAQ

  • The job advertisements are regularly updated so that all vacancies advertised on our careers page are vacant.

  • If there is nothing to the contrary in the job description, we are usually looking to fill vacancies as soon as possible.

  • Unfortunately, we do not accept speculative applications. The job advertisements on our homepage are always up to date. Set up a “Job Agent”, which will inform you by e-mail about new jobs in the area in which you are interested.

  • No, please apply exclusively online via our application system. Applications submitted elsewhere cannot be considered.

  • You should upload your CV, your last university or school education certificate and relevant professional references or samples (if available). If you wish, you can also attach a current photo. But beware! The total size of all uploaded documents should not exceed 10 MB!

  • No, in most cases we do not need a cover letter anymore. If we do, it is explicitly mentioned in the job advertisements.

  • Of course you can reapply. However, read the requirements for the position carefully again. Your experience, skills and competences should match with the job profile.

  • You can log in and out of the system at any time using the data registered with your online application. You can therefore continue with your application at a later date - the entries you have made up to that point before the interruption will be retained, provided that they have been stored temporarily.

  • All changes to your candidate profile (such as last name & contact details) take effect immediately and are also included in previous or current applications. All position-specific entries are assigned directly to an application and remain in effect.

  • Log in to the Beiersdorf career portal with the data you entered during registration. Under Application you will find your current application status.

    Attention system changes! For applications before April 01, 2020: Please use the registration data that we sent you by e-mail after you registered with the application. 

  • As soon as you have sent us your application via our online application system, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt of your application by e-mail.
    Our recruiters will contact you as soon as possible. Depending on the position and the required consultation with the department, however, it may take some time. Therefore, please have patience and understanding if it takes some time to receive feedback.

  • Depending on the position you are applying for, we would like to ask you to take part in an online assessment (e.g. self-description of your personality using a questionnaire, participating in a test for analytical thinking, etc.). With the help of these assessments, we want to gain a comprehensive picture of you and offer you the opportunity to show your qualifications beyond your CV. We never look at your responses in isolation, but only in combination with our personal impressions from the entire application process. With the use of online assessments, we meet quality standards of personnel selection as specified in DIN 33430, which increases objectivity and fairness in the application process for you.

  • Your data can be viewed by our responsible Beiersdorf Human Resources employees and by the relevant department. 

    Otherwise only you can access your data. When you create a profile in our careers portal, you can control the visibility of your profile by choosing whether your profile should be visible only to the team responsible for your current application or to HR teams within the Beiersdorf Group worldwide, group-wide. 

    You can adjust the visibility settings in your candidate profile at any time. We store your personal data in your candidate profile for a period of 6 months after your last login. Additionally, you can request the deletion of your candidate profile or the withdrawal of your application by contacting us at However, if you have deleted your entire registration, you will have to enter all relevant data again if you apply to Beiersdorf again at a later date.   • If you no longer wish to be considered for a position, please withdraw your application. You can reapply at any time.

  • As soon as you have submitted your online application, you will receive an automatic confirmation that we have received your application. The further application process consists of an online test, a delayed video interview and a personal introduction. Since many jobs or applications involve more than one team or department, we will also consider your application for further vacancies. We know that this process is lengthy for you. We therefore ask you to inform us if you withdraw your application because you have accepted another internship.

  • Please enclose your university degree certificate, all relevant intermediate certificates, an overview of the degrees you have obtained and all references relevant to your profession and internship.

  • We advertise the program several times a year, but have no fixed starting dates. The best way to do this is to set up a "job agent" in our job exchange.

  • Applicants go through a multi-stage selection procedure. All information on the exact application process can be found on our website.

    You do not need an addressee for a cover letter; in this case, please keep it general.

Technical FAQ

  • The password must be at least 8 and can contain a maximum of 16 characters. It must contain at least one digit or punctuation mark. Spaces, symbols and icons are not possible.

  • You will find a “Forgotten Password” link underneath the login fields. Please enter your username and/or the email address that you submitted when registering on the following page. Within a few minutes, you will receive a new password, which you will need to change the next time you login. 

  • Are you still online? Is your Internet connection still active? Are pop-ups or JavaScript deactivated in your browser? That you can fix by changing the settings in your browser settings. If this does not work, contact our Technical Support (Hotline: +49-40-4909-3000).

  • For technical reasons you are only able to upload Microsoft Office, tif, png, and PDF files. Please do not upload more than 10 MB altogether. We recommend converting your documents into PDF format – you can find a number of free PDF conversion tools online

  • The user name corresponds to the registered e-mail address.
