What is Eucerin’s history?

Eucerin began around 1900. Dr. Isaac Lifschütz worked in a small lab and discovered the emulsifier Eucerit during his research. With Eucerit, water and oil could be mixed well and turned into a stable base for medical ointments. This base was named Eucerin and became part of early skincare. This is how the story of the brand began. Over the years, Eucerin grew and now offers many skincare products for sensitive and dry skin.
