Hansaplast has existed since 1922. The plaster already had a soft gauze pad and was gentle on the skin. People could use it to treat small wounds on their own. This was new and very helpful at the time. Over the years, many other plasters were added. In some countries, Beiersdorf uses the names CURITAS or Elastoplast. All three brands help people protect small wounds in an easy way.
