Beiersdorf on AllBright‘s Green List for Gender-Balanced Leadership

Progress needs diverse perspectives. And when it comes to leadership, who sits at the table shapes how businesses think, decide, and grow. The 2025 AllBright Report on gender-balanced leadership shows how relevant that is today.

The report reveals that progress in the wider market has stalled. As in the previous year, only 17 out of 160 listed companies in Germany meet AllBright’s criteria for the ‘Green List’. Beiersdorf is one of them.

For the third year in a row, we received the Green Envelope from the AllBright Stiftung, a recognition of our commitment and continued efforts toward gender-balanced leadership.

“I am proud that Beiersdorf is once again recognized by the AllBright Stiftung for sustained progress in gender-balanced leadership. This is not a coincidence. It is the result of consistent choices, guided by the conviction that diverse leadership leads to better outcomes. We will continue to hold ourselves to this ambition, because it makes us stronger in navigating what’s ahead.” – Vincent Warnery, CEO

“This recognition reflects the dedication of so many colleagues who contribute to an inclusive, empowering culture every day. When different voices are heard at the table, we learn more, we grow faster, and we perform better. I am deeply proud of what we have achieved, and even more motivated for the road ahead. We stay focus and intentional in broadening our perspectives across all levels of leadership.” – Nicola Lafrentz, Chief HR Officer

How We Advance Gender-Balanced Leadership

Our journey toward gender-balanced leadership is rooted in a decision we made in 2021: to reach gender balance in global management by 2025. We achieved that goal 18 months ahead of schedule and continue to uphold it ever since.

2025 Leadership Representation at Beiersdorf (status: 30.06.2025)

  • Women make up 42.9% of the Executive Board
  • Across our Consumer business, women hold 51.5% of global management roles
  • Seven out of 12 members of the Supervisory Board are women (58.3%)

Everyday Practices for an Inclusive Environment

Representation builds visibility; inclusion builds impact. It takes many people and many deliberate actions across the company to create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Our initiatives include:

  • Inclusive leadership upskilling for our 3,000 global people leaders
  • 350+ flexible working models enabling different life and career paths, including job sharing
  • Mentoring programs that support the next generation of leaders
  • Employee Resource Groups that serve as global networks of support and empowerment for various communities at Beiersdorf, including women, LGBTIQ+, Black People of Color, or people with disabilities.

Our Diversity Commitment

At Beiersdorf, we are convinced that diversity is a strength that makes businesses more innovative and more resilient. That’s why we’re committed to building an inclusive environment where talents with diverse backgrounds can contribute to our success. This includes sustaining gender balance across management levels. The Green Envelope is an acknowledgment and reminder of our efforts.
