Your Tasks

The role is responsible for leading end-to-end Supply Chain Financial Controlling activities for the Management Unit (MU). Acting as a trusted Finance Business Partner to the Supply Chain Director and leadership team, the role provides financial insights, performance visibility, and decision-making support across Supply Chain operations. The position drives financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management of Supply Chain Performance Indicators (SCPIs), including Working Capital (WoC), Cost of Manufacturing (CoM), and Cost of Procurement (CoP), while ensuring effective budget governance and compliance with corporate reporting standards.

1. Supply Chain Financial Controlling

  • Serve as the single point of contact for Supply Chain Controlling matters within the Management Unit.
  • Monitor, analyze, interpret, and proactively report Supply Chain Performance Indicators (SCPIs).
  • Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to support business performance and decision-making.

2. Financial Planning, Forecasting & Budget Management

  • Lead planning and forecasting processes for Supply Chain functions, including CoM, CoP, and SCPIs.
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting with Supply Chain stakeholders and the local Finance team.
  • Develop and consolidate bottom-up financial plans, including Working Capital and inventory-related metrics.
  • Drive budget steering and performance tracking for the Management Unit.

3. Financial Closing & Reporting

  • Manage monthly closing activities and ensure accurate reporting of Supply Chain financial performance and SCPIs.
  • Monitor budgets, accruals, provisions, and overall Supply Chain financial performance.
  • Ensure timely, complete, and accurate Group reporting in line with corporate standards.

4. Cost Management

  • Oversee Cost of Manufacturing (CoM) and Cost of Procurement (CoP) landed-cost calculations, including Intercompany Pricing (ICP), Foreign Exchange (FX) impacts, inbound logistics costs, Value-Added Services (VAS), customs duties, and applicable taxes.
  • Perform forecasting, planning, and variance analysis, and consolidate results at the MU level.

5. Business Partnership & Performance Improvement

  • Partner with the Supply Chain Director and leadership team to provide transparency on financial KPIs and Supply Chain economics.
  • Support continuous improvement and performance management across key metrics, including Working Capital, scrap and write-offs, forecast accuracy, service level, Distribution Cost Structure (DCS), and Global Excellence (GE) Supply Chain metrics.
  • Challenge and support business decisions to drive cost optimization and operational efficiency.

6. Inventory & Working Capital Management

  • Drive effective inventory controlling in collaboration with the Supply Chain team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Days Inventory Held (DIH) and inventory turnover.
  • Support initiatives to reduce write-offs, obsolescence, and scrapping costs while optimizing Working Capital.

7. Governance, Controls & Compliance

  • Execute all mandatory Risk Control Matrix (RCM) controls related to Supply Chain Controlling.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation, analysis, and stakeholder coordination.

Your Profile

  1. Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in Finance, Controlling, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  2. Professional qualifications in CA, CMA, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent field
  3. Strong knowledge and practical experience in Supply Chain Controlling, including cost management, inventory controlling, and supply chain performance measurement.
  4. Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting, and business partnering within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is preferred.
  5. Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and support decision-making across functions.
  6. Excellent coordination and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix organizational structures.
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  8. Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  9. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a structured, accurate, and results-oriented manner while maintaining focus on broader business objectives.
  10. Sound understanding of IFRS accounting principles is preferred.
  11. Hands-on experience with SAP and related financial reporting systems.
  12. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  13. Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools is an advantage.
  14. Proactive, self-driven, and continuously focused on process improvement and operational excellence.
