Beiersdorf Manufacturing Hamburg (BMH) looks back on a long history and is regarded as the company’s flagship manufacturing site: production has taken place at the Hamburg site since 1933, and today BMH is the largest production site worldwide of Beiersdorf AG.

More than 600 employees from over 18 nations work at two plants in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel and Hamburg-Billbrook. Around 3 million products are manufactured here every day, while approximately 1.5 million metal tins are produced at the same time – primarily the iconic blue tins of NIVEA Creme.

BMH stands for long-term commitment: the average length of service is an impressive 22 years, reflecting the strong corporate culture and the high level of dedication of our employees.

In addition to manufacturing emulsions, BMH is also responsible for filling and packaging numerous products, including NIVEA Creme, deodorant rollers, Labello lip care sticks, as well as other skincare and cleansing products. We are particularly proud that our Billbrook plant is the only production site worldwide for the NIVEA Creme emulsifier Eucerit – a key component of the world-famous formula.
