In accordance with the German “Act on the Equal Participation of Women and Men in Leadership Positions”, Beiersdorf AG is legally required to define targets for the proportion of women in the first two management levels below the Executive Board, as well as deadlines for achieving these targets. For the Supervisory Board of Beiersdorf AG, the statutory minimum quota of 30 percent women and 30 percent men applies; for the Executive Board, the legal participation requirement of at least one woman and one man applies. In addition, as part of its diversity concept for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board, the Supervisory Board also defines voluntary targets for the proportion of women in these bodies.
