Your Tasks
The Accounting Lead – Order to Cash (OTC) is responsible for managing the end-to-end OTC finance process, including credit management, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution. The role requires strong business partnering with internal stakeholders and direct interaction with external customers to resolve disputes, ensure timely collections, and maintain accounting hygiene. The incumbent will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Sales Controlling, Tax, Accounting, and other related functions to drive efficient cash flow and compliance with global standards. The key responsibilities are:
- Order To Cash Operations
- Oversee the end-to-end Order to Cash (OTC) process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Monitor and manage the customer credit portfolio, including periodic credit reviews, credit limit updates, and mitigation of credit risks.
- Credit & Collections Management
- Forecast collections and support cash flow planning activities.
- Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding claims and collections with customers.
- Monitor customer deductions and drive quick resolution by coordinating with Sales, Customer Service, Sales Controlling, and Warehouse teams.
- Cash Application & Accounting
- Monitor cash application of customer payments and ensure strong accounting hygiene.
- Ensure adherence to global accounting and OTC process standards.
- Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Maintain regular and effective communication with external customers to resolve disputes and collection-related issues.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with Sales teams and customers.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders across functions including Accounting, Tax, Sales Controlling, and Customer Service.
- Reporting, Compliance & Audits
- Track, report, and ensure compliance with global OTC KPIs.
- Prepare performance and management reports for local and global stakeholders.
- Support data requirements and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Process Improvement
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in credit and OTC management.
- Actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives related to credit evaluation, deduction management, and OTC processes
Your Profile
- Qualification in Accounting (CMA / CWA / CA Inter) and/or a master’s degree in business administration with specialization in Finance and Accounting or a related field.
- 5-8 Years of experience in consumer product Industries.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Sound understanding of general ledger accounting and accounts payable processes
- Strong communication skills and experience working with international stakeholders
- Team spirit, proactive and objective oriented with great attention to detail.
