Your Tasks

Reporting to the Tax Manager Poland, you will take responsibility for a broad range of Polish tax matters while continuing to develop your technical expertise. The role offers the opportunity to work independently, take ownership of your areas, and gain exposure to corporate tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, tax reporting, tax audits and international tax topics.

Your responsibilities:

  • Act as a day-to-day contact for Polish tax matters, working closely with accountants to resolve tax questions and escalating more complex topics to the Tax Manager where appropriate.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with external tax advisors and outsourcing partners, coordinating deliverables and following up proactively on open topics.
  • Own and monitor the Polish tax compliance calendar, ensuring deadlines and required inputs are actively managed.
  • Prepare Polish CIT, WHT and Property Tax filings, as well as other local tax filings and requirements, in close collaboration with the Tax Manager.
  • Prepare DAC6 filings and support the assessment of potential reporting obligations.
  • Support Polish tax audits, including preparing documentation, draft responses and defense letters, and coordinating requests from the Polish Tax Authorities.
  • Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation and TPR filings for Poland and the Baltics.
  • Take responsibility for tax reporting and CIT closing activities under local GAAP and IFRS, including Pillar 2 reporting, using systems such as SAP, CIS and GTC.
  • Support the implementation of new Polish tax requirements, such as SAF-T, and help translate regulatory changes into practical processes and actions.
  • Monitor Polish tax developments, identify topics relevant for the business and share key developments with Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to tax projects and process improvements, bringing forward ideas on how we can simplify, standardize and improve the way we work.
  • Independently handle day-to-day and ad hoc tax matters, while partnering with the Tax Manager on more complex or judgmental topics.

Your Profile

  • Around 2–4 years of relevant tax experience, ideally gained in a Big Four/tax advisory firm and/or an international company.
  • Solid foundation in Polish taxation, particularly corporate income tax, with an interest in developing broader tax expertise.
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset and the confidence to take ownership of your responsibilities.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize and follow topics through to completion, while knowing when to seek input or challenge an approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in translating technical tax requirements into practical business solutions.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn, including the motivation to take on topics outside your current area of expertise.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to interact with accountants, external advisors and colleagues across an international organization.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement, with the drive to question existing processes and suggest better ways of working.
  • Fluent Polish and strong professional English.
