Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to enhance your career in a fast-paced environment?

We are seeking an experienced Regional Brand Protection Manager in Greater China to join our global Brand Protection Unit.  You will be part of a diverse and capable team responsible for the management of our anti-counterfeiting program in this important region.  In doing so you will:

  • Lead a team of external consultants to drive our investigation and enforcement program across mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan
  • Conduct market surveys as required to monitor counterfeit prevalence in wholesale markets and retail chains
  • Engage with regional and local E-Commerce and Social Media platforms to remove IP infringing content and develop O2O cases against high value targets (under guidance of the Global Online Investigation & Data Intelligence Manager)
  • Liaise closely with internal departments, e.g., Sales, E-Commerce, Quality and Consumer Interaction teams to raise awareness and maintain internal visibility of the counterfeit issue
  • Become familiar with our Supply Chain footprint across the region and attain detailed knowledge of production, supply and distribution flows
  • Develop product authentication expertise
  • Collaborate with fellow BPU team members on joint projects, including improving internal systems and processes, and mapping global counterfeit trade routes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our ORIGO case management system
  • Engage with and train regional Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) including police and Customs at appropriate forums across the region
  • Stay up to date on regional changes in IP law and regulations to ensure relevant enforcement and deterrence measures are pursued
  • Manage administrative tasks as required

Your Profile

  • Background in brand protection, IP enforcement, security and/or criminal investigations, or a managerial background at Beiersdorf, with a strong international footprint, and at least 5-7 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Legal Studies, or related field
  • Strong network with regional LEA, regulators and industry associations
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, spoken and written; Cantonese and German a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and structure work effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Analytical, data-led and solution-oriented thinking
  • Digital fluency, and experience with AI tools and approaches
  • Motivated, constructive, and flexible working attitude
  • Growth mindset and willingness to continuously improve processes, tools, etc.
