Your Tasks

As a Key Account Manager at Beiersdorf Romania, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with our key clients.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating annual commercial contracts with both portfolio clients and prospective customers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms;
  • Continuously managing and adjusting specific commercial conditions throughout the year to meet program requirements and client needs;
  • Developing comprehensive commercial agreements within your portfolio to align with company strategies and client expectations;
  • Planning and forecasting client budgets according to current commercial agreements, enabling accurate financial planning and resource allocation;
  • Allocating and closely monitoring budgets for each client (Reduction™ Allowances) to ensure they conform to company objectives and profitability targets;
  • Analyzing market trends, client performance, and competitive activity to develop and implement impactful sales and marketing strategies tailored for short, medium, and long-term success;
  • Negotiating and implementing dynamic price lists for assigned clients, ensuring competitiveness and profitability;
  • Evaluating and taking responsibility for the performance of clients in your portfolio through direct collaboration and frequent communication;
  • Supporting product launch presentations, providing insightful information and strategic guidance to clients for optimal results;
  • Preparing detailed evaluation reports and sales forecasts using internal Score Cards and other analytical tools to track and predict client sales evolution;
  • Monitoring inventory issues, competitive activities, market data, and both sell-in and sell-out metrics per client to identify opportunities and risks;
  • Representing and promoting the company's brand and values in all external client relations, ensuring a positive corporate image.

Your Profile

  • Education Requirements: A university degree is required;
  • Professional Experience: At least 2 years in account management or related sales roles, showcasing your ability to manage client portfolios effectively and negotiate complex deals;
  • Language Proficiency: Strong English language skills, both oral and written;
  • Technical Competency: Competent user of MS Office tools, with particular emphasis on Excel for budgeting and reporting purposes;
  • Sales Background: Proven experience in sales that demonstrates your capacity to develop client relationships and drive revenue growth;
  • Skills & Attributes: Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving;
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to align client strategies with company goals.
