Your Tasks

  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software components, such as Notebooks, Mobile Devices Printers, Scanners, M365 and other bespoke software(s) used in the local business.
  • Monitoring, testing, and optimizing the performance, availability of IT systems using various tools and reporting any issues to 2nd Level teams.
  • Providing technical support and assistance to users and clients, either remotely or on-site, by diagnosing and resolving issues, answering queries logged via ticketing system, and offering guidance and advice.
  • Planning, designing, and implementing IT projects based on requirements of stakeholders and deliver optimal solutions in line with global policies and standards.
  • Managing and maintaining IT resources, such as hardware, software, data, and licenses, by keeping inventory, documentation, and records.
  • Researching and evaluating new technologies, products, and trends, and recommending solutions that meet the needs and goals of the organization.
  • Collaborating and communicating with other IT professionals, vendors, and stakeholders, by participating in meetings, presentations, and training sessions, and sharing information and feedback.
  • Working with our global IT organization “Beiersdorf Shared Services (BSS)” to deliver updates and changes to local business and provide training where required.

Your Profile

To be successful as an IT apprentice you must have passed Grade 4 or above in Maths and Grade 5 or above in English ,  an interest in technology, possess great time management skills and enjoy solving problems.  You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and build good relationships with colleagues, and ultimately make a lasting impression.
