As a trainee in Finance & Controlling, you will put your expertise to use in very specific business cases and – together with your colleagues – advise the management in decision-making. If you want to actively tackle challenges and contribute your own ideas, you've come to the right place.

In this trainee program, you will get to know numerous aspects of our Finance office at headquarters, including business controlling, group controlling, and central planning and reporting processes. Of course, like all our BEYOND BORDERS trainees, you will also gain international experience. Where exactly? That's up to you. For your six month stay abroad, you can choose one of our more than 170 subsidiaries worldwide. In addition, you will be part of our international trainee network, benefit from working on cross-functional projects and gain access to development activities such as training and mentoring. Are you ready for our trainee program in Finance & Controlling?

We are looking for:

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration or Economics, ideally with a major in the area of Finance or Controlling
Min. 6 months of practical experience
Min. 6 months of experience abroad
Fluency in English
Quick thinker with an entrepreneurial & international mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with pragmatism
Convincing, integer, flexible and resilient personality
Compelling communicator

FINANCE STANDARDIZATION AND TRANSPARENCY, GROUP CONTROLLING, AND ACCOUNTING (4 MONTHS)

In the first step, you will get to know central planning and reporting processes and learn more about corporate finance and our corporate strategy. In addition, you will gain insights into Group Controlling and Accounting. Various projects will give you the opportunity to optimize processes and reporting in order to support management with even better information for decision-making.

Functional Business Controlling (4 months)

In the second step, you will support our business controllers – for the Marketing, Supply Chain or Research & Development functions, for example. As an operational partner, you will advise the management team and ensure that the right decisions are made from a financial perspective. You will contribute to global business reporting, develop measures to improve profitability and plan and review budgets in your area.

International assignment (6 months)

During your international assignment, you will get to know another market and new aspects of our business in one of our subsidiaries. Working in local Finance & Controlling, you will gain a sharper awareness of cultural differences – an important skill for the next generation of managers in our globally active company with a strong consumer focus.

Cross-functional assignment (4 months)

In the fourth and final step, you will literally go BEYOND BORDERS: Depending on your personal interests, you can expand your knowledge in a completely different area. For example, you can use experience in sales, marketing, or even auditing to better prepare you for your future career in Finance & Controlling. Or you can dive into Corporate Development, where you work directly for the Executive Board.
