Your Tasks

Detailing Management

  • Define and govern the Andean detailing strategy to maximize medical recommendation, prescription generation, dispensing performance, and market share growth.
  • Establish annual and multi-year detailing objectives, priorities, segmentation models, and performance frameworks aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure optimal deployment of medical resources based on physician potential, prescription opportunities, and market dynamics.
  • Drive excellence in medical engagement models, ensuring consistent execution standards across all countries and customer touchpoints.
  • Lead strategic analysis of medical recommendation trends, prescription evolution, market share performance, and competitive dynamics using IQVIA, Close-Up, IQMED, and other relevant tools.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators to ensure sustainable improvement in physician engagement, recommendation rates, prescription generation, and return on investment.
  • Align medical detailing priorities with Marketing, Sales, Digital, Shopper & Customer Marketing, and Supply Chain functions to ensure integrated execution plans.
  • For Colombia, define and steer local detailing priorities, resource allocation, territory focus, and engagement plans according to market opportunities and business needs.

Medical Marketing

  • Define the short-, medium-, and long-term Medical Strategy for the Andean Cluster and Colombia to strengthen Eucerin’s expert positioning and medicalization agenda.
  • Develop scientific communication strategies targeting healthcare professionals, medical societies, institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the medical component of brand strategies, ensuring scientific differentiation and evidence-based positioning across the portfolio.
  • Drive medical awareness initiatives leveraging congresses, scientific platforms, publications, digital channels, CRM programs, advisory boards, and educational activities.
  • Identify strategic growth opportunities through medical engagement, clinical evidence generation, expert advocacy, and emerging market trends.
  • Ensure integration of medical objectives into cross-functional business plans and support portfolio lifecycle management through scientific insight and expert engagement.
  • For Colombia, act as the medical lead for local strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between market needs, scientific opportunities, and business priorities.

Training Management

  • Establish the strategic capability-building agenda for the medical detailing organization across the Andean Cluster and Colombia.
  • Define competency frameworks, certification standards, and development plans to build a high-performing medical engagement organization
  • Ensure continuous enhancement of scientific knowledge, customer engagement capabilities, negotiation skills, and business acumen across the field force.
  • Monitor capability development KPIs and demonstrate linkage between training effectiveness and business outcomes.

KOL Management

  • Define and oversee the regional and local KOL engagement strategy to strengthen Eucerin’s scientific credibility and influence within the dermatology community.
  • Develop and maintain a structured ecosystem of Key Opinion Leaders, Digital Opinion Leaders, Rising Stars, scientific societies, academic institutions, and patient associations.
  • Lead governance of advisory boards, scientific meetings, congress participation, educational programs, and medical influencer initiatives.
  • Represent the company with senior medical stakeholders across the Andean region and serve as the primary medical relationship lead for strategic KOLs in Colombia.

Your Profile

  • English Advanced: speaking and writing.
  • High impact presentations in English and capability to present in forums with Managers, Regionals and Global teams.
  • Minimum of 10+ years in medical management experience, marketing or Detailing Manager in fast moving consumer packaged goods environment and OTC’s, Laboratories.  Ideally Derma Skin Care brands.
  • Team player, balancing driving business needs and supporting engaged culture.
  • Strong team building & leadership skills. Has the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Strong understanding medical management, skin and the science of skincare, as well as experience with the KOL dermatologist’s community.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to analyze market, business & consumer trends and proactively translate them into focused strategies and action plans.
  • IQMED, Close Up, IQVIA Management.
  • Knowledge experience and stakeholder management.
  • Track record of strong results-orientation with experience in financial analysis and strong skillset in P&L, SOI, and Budget management.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing influence principles and strategic thinking.
  • University Degree.

Travel requirements:

Up to 40% travel. Frequent travel domestic and international, including overnight stays. Availability to work beyond standard business hours, including weekends, for key meetings and conferences.
