- Deliver statistical baseline
Using the statistical forecasting engine, deliver a statistical baseline to different countries for a given portfolio. The selected models should be reviewed regularly.
- Monthly Forecast review
Review FC for a given assortment on a monthly basis using the demand analyst dashboards and take the necessary actions in a timely fashion.
- Maintain & develop analysis dashboards
Keep the current set of analysis dashboards regularly updated. Find opportunities to upgrade the current set of dashboards to improve user experience and data analysis capabilities.
- Maintain DP Masterdata
Where needed maintain the correct parameters in the MD to ensure proper forecasting of the assortment. Including but not limited to FC indicator, ABC XYZ.
- Participate in regional roll out
Participate in the scheduled regional roll out plan, by participating in workshops in different locations and organizing meetings online with the different countries in the region.
- Review own portfolio
Regularly review performances of own portfolio, performing the required analysis to understand if the FC delivered can be improved. Additionally, review which products or brands could be added to DA portfolio. By performing analysis and simulation to determine if the given items would benefit from moving over to statistical baseline method.
- Training & Onboarding
Participate in the training of new demand analysts as well as new demand planners to ensure proper continuity of tasks within the team and with the stakeholders.
- Communication / relationship building.
To communicate regularly and effectively with Supply Chain colleagues in order to receive the required information. To communicate openly with the Demand Planers from serviced MUs so that information is received / given out effectively. To communicate clearly and respectfully, being aware of cultural differences.
To develop effective, sustainable and beneficial relationships with key Supply Chain colleagues in order to improve planning performance. To build effective relationships with the local DP teams via regular reviews / workshops, visit in order to support the delivery of agreed portfolio’s statistical baseline
- Process improvement / change management
To execute existing processes and systems within her/his area to ensure requested ways of working with regards to processes and systems, which enable the Demand Planning teams to deliver an efficient and high quality service.
To deal with introduced changes in the organisation openly.
- Reporting
To complete any reporting requirements such as but not limited to History review, Service level impacts, brand deep dives in an accurate and timely manner.
- Corporate / regional meetings
To participate, where applicable, in the meetings arranged by MU, corporate or regional colleagues, either in person or via teleconference.
- Projects
To work on national and international projects, primarily with emphasis on supply planning; in certain cases to manage (sub-) projects by him-/herself.
- Min. 2 years of Data Analyst professional experience
- University degree ( minimum Bachelor) in Data Administration, Statistics, Analytics or Economics
- fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written), ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management and peers
- Excellent analytical skills
- Very good communication skills
- Able to interpret & assimilate large amounts of information in order to make (supported) decisions quickly and effectively
- Building and developing relationships with both internal and external partners
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, optionally VBA or Power BI
- Able to be pro-active in addressing issues / problems
- Advanced communication skills. Able to express ideas effectively and actively listen to others
- Able to raise issues in current work practices to improve performance and display willingness to try new approaches
- Ability to work remotely in a multicultural environment
