Senior Global Brand Manager - Aquaphor Accelerator

Your Tasks

1. Global Portfolio Ownership & Life-Cycle Management

  • Lead global strategy for Aquaphor’s existing core categories and hero SKUs across Ointment, Baby and Lip
  • Develop short-, mid- and long-term roadmap for L / RL and Upclaiming
  • Lead cross-market innovation ideation to develop innovative products and winning concepts driving brand growth in US and globally
  • Identify optimization and expansion opportunities in pack formats, claims, and pricing tiers at global scale
  • Craft compelling 2D (and 3D) design language for future innovations
  • Identify the right balance between brand equity and tactical growth opportunities

2. IIM Ownership

  • Oversee and execute international launches and relaunches within the IIM process
  • As key Core Team member you steer global IIM projects from early concept stage to launch, ensuring innovations are globally scalable and strategically relevant while closely collaborating with R&D Formula, R&D PackDev, Medical and Supply Chain
  • Make marketing mix recommendations for product & category launches and/or relaunches, in collaboration with involved departments (digital, claims, finance, legal, regulatory, medical, CMI, etc.).
  • Build compelling business cases to support high-potential concepts
  • Present projects in Gate 1+ meetings and senior forums (i.e. Aquasquad, Regular JFs with Derma President and/or US Derma Lead Team), championing bold ideas and clear strategic direction
  • Drive excellence in execution so innovations deliver impact from day one
  • Act as Claim Expert and lead strong claim development, engaging closely with Medical Management, R&D, Claim Strategist and Regulatory/Legal to increase product competitiveness
  • Work in close collaboration with the Content & Communication Manager to develop best-in-class communication briefs

3. Consumer & Trend Analysis

  • Be obsessed with competition: Continuously track and translate ingredient, formulation, pricing and competitive trends into opportunity spaces and share with the Aquaphor Accelerator team
  • Partner with your Aquaphor CMI colleague to validate white spaces and future growth territories
  • Turn insights into sharp, inspiring briefs that guide R&D and creative development

4. Collaboration – internationally & x-functionally

  • Engage early with priority region (North America) as well as future top markets to integrate market & dermatologist & consumer needs as well as legal/regulatory requirements (i.e. cosmetics vs OTC) early on
  • Work closely with US team and key expansion regions/countries providing proactive consultancy
  • Engage strongly with the Aquaphor Accelerator peers, such as Medical Management, Content & Communication Manager, SCM & Training Manager and CMI to ensure consistent knowledge transfer and orchestration across all touchpoints
  • Regularly monitor and control the global marketing budget

Your Profile

  • 7–10+ years’ experience in brand management or global innovation within beauty, personal care, consumer health, or FMCG
  • Bachelor’s degree required / Master’s degree is a plus – either in Marketing and/or Science
  • Experience in dermatological skincare is a plus
  • Experience in US market preferred and ideally experience outside of US
  • Proven track record in end‑to‑end innovation development: white space identification, concept & design creation, claim development and business cases, and global launches
  • Certain knowledge of the Product Development process (IIM), technical understanding, and expertise in skincare formulas
  • Strong ability to translate consumer insights, trends, and data into clear opportunity spaces and compelling product concepts
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid team set-up (HH HQ and US) across time zones and managing stakeholders across regions with agility and empathy
  • Strategic thinker with sharp commercial acumen, and strong analytical skills, capable of building global business cases and shaping long‑term portfolio direction
  • Excellent cross-functional collaborator with strong influence and stakeholder management skills
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and energized by working in a fast-paced, accelerator-style environment with high levels of ambiguity
  • Strong communicator and verbal & visual storyteller who can bring ideas to life
  • Very strong eye for details and excellence in execution
  • Fluent in English
