Sr. Sales Controller

The Sales Controller will act as a critical business partner to the Head of Sales Channels and Key Account Managers (KAMs). This role is responsible for overseeing NS monthly closings follow up, the administration and control of the TTCs budget, including discounts and rebates, and evaluating big and strategic promo activities. The Sales Controller will also play a key role in identifying risks and opportunities through the sales forecast process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making by challenging sales teams to go in the company’s strategic direction. Finally, also responsible of maintaining compliance in all sales processes.

 

Your Tasks

• Review Sales Annual Plans: Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure that annual sales plans are aligned with company objectives and strategies.
• Opportunity and Risk Detection: Analyze customer data to identify potential opportunities and risks, providing actionable insights to the sales team.
• TTCs Review: Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews of TTCs (Trade Terms & Conditions) against the plan to ensure budget compliance and effectiveness.
• ROI Evaluation: Assess the return on investment (ROI) for strategic and new promotional activities, providing recommendations for optimization.
• Pre and post evaluations: Work in evaluating and presenting the big and strategic activities during the year to assess promos and learnings for future activities and assure the correct approvals if any deviation vs plan is needed. Also confirm plans are aligned with the brands strategies and be aware of all impacts in the main KPIs.
• Authorization Guidance: Guide the commercial team through the authorization process for excess TTCs and price differences, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• System Management: Load and update prices, discounts, and rebates in the SAP system to maintain accurate financial records.
• Guide the commercial team to align to our policies and to be compliant in all financial and commercial processes.

Your Profile

• Professional degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Economy/ Engineer/ Business Administration
• Master's degree is a plus
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Controlling/Finance
Personal aspects:

• Passionate about finance specifically in controlling
• Motivated to progress in a career in finance functions
• Demonstrate established achievements in building relationships across departments, with good communication skills
Other requirements:
• English: Advanced
• Advanced Excel skills
• Desirable SAP and Power BI knowledge
