To strengthen further our Sales Team in the pharmacy channel, we are looking for a driven & people oriented Sales Manager .

In this exciting role, you will be responsible to develop & implement the Sales and Shopper & Customer Marketing strategy for the Pharmacy Channel in Belgium, including a different approach for the different Sales channels. This of course also requires leading & motivating your team (4 direct & 10 indirect reports) and developing local talents. Your main responsibilities will include:

Leadership:

  • Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing local sales organization that embraces a growth mindset and is committed to excellence.
  • Build strong talent pipelines by identifying high-potential individuals, investing in their development, and creating clear succession paths.
  • Cultivate a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement that empowers teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Actively collaborate with the European Sales network, contributing to cross-country initiatives and bringing local insights into the broader business context.

Sales Strategy, Framework & Targets:

  • Develop and implement a locally tailored sales strategy in alignment with the European Sales framework, corporate policies, and regional priorities.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable objectives for sales teams, ensuring visibility and commitment at all levels.
  • Define sales targets and KPIs across channels and consistently track progress
  • Manage accurate and timely sales forecasting by partnering with Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain, securing product availability and supporting demand-driven planning.
  • Oversee the phasing of Net Sales (NS), maintain clear communication with regional teams, and ensure alignment with global expectations.

Sales Channels & Customer Development:

  • Own the development of sales channels, with a strategic focus on strengthening the traditional pharmacy channel through improved distribution, visibility, and POS performance.
  • Shape and manage the customer portfolio by identifying growth opportunities, optimizing the assortment and promotional mix, and securing long-term profitability through tailored negotiation frameworks.
  • Explore and assess new market opportunities, including digital and Direct-to-Consumer channels, to broaden reach and capture untapped potential.
  • Drive field excellence and brand advocacy by implementing training programs for Pharmacy Assistants

Shopper & Customer Marketing:

  • Lead the creation of compelling shopper journeys that inspire purchase and strengthen brand equity at the Point of Sale (POS) and across digital touchpoints (ePOS).
  • Build and execute relevant go-to-market packages by leveraging global and regional materials, ensuring adaptation to the specific needs of the Sales & Customer environment.
  • Define and roll out an omnichannel marketing strategy that delivers an engaging brand presence across all consumer and customer interactions.

Your Profile

What it takes to join us?

  • Degree in a relevant business and/or commercial field as a foundation for your professional expertise
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English—both written and spoken
  • At least 8 years of solid business experience in commercial roles
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership position, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving results
  • In-depth knowledge of FMCG markets, with a strong advantage if you’re familiar with the pharmacy market
  • A bold thinker and dynamic leader ready to shape the future of our business
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and assertiveness to navigate complex environments
  • An international mindset with hands-on experience working across cultures and markets
  • A personality that’s agile, accountable, ambitious, and well-connected
  • A truly entrepreneurial spirit paired with an innovative approach to solving problems
