Your Tasks

  • You help shape the business by working together with the local Marketing teams. As a Business Partner, you are involved in all important local marketing decisions, and challenge Marketing in the planning and execution of marketing activities with the goal of achieving the economic optimum.
  • You ensure financial stability in all areas of Marketing by monitoring Market Share, Net Sales, margin and marketing budgets of own area of assortment and their impact on country profitability (analyze, generate insights and recommend actions). You propose profit-securing and -improving measures in own assortment area and enforcing these measures together with Marketing and supervisor.
  • You ensure the implementation of the Consumer Business Strategy in the respective country / assortment area. To do so you are responsible for the local planning process in Marketing and coordinating the execution of marketing planning (Market Share, Net Sales, margin and marketing budgets). You align this planning with the regional briefing, local sales planning and coordinate with Marketing Directors and Finance Director as well as the bigger Business Partner team.
  • You control of the product portfolio by monitoring the portfolio’s entire life cycle, assessing the profitability, where necessary recommend optimizations, of launches, relaunches and the execution of promotions within the framework of go-to-market meetings.
  • You ensure the efficiency of marketing spend by regularly monitoring and coordinating with the local Marketing Lead and supporting the local media manager in controlling of optimal allocation of the marketing budget to media channels / campaigns.
  • You support concepts of appropriate management information, in close collaboration with Center of Excellence , according to the local target group and local KPIs for decision making.
  • You work together with and in cross-functional projects (e.g., Commercial Mix Modelling, OPEX) and conceptual work within the country and region, especially being in close exchange with the Center of Excellence, with goal to optimize business processes and setting standards in decision making processes together with his/her supervisor.

Your Profile

  • Master and Bachelor
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Good practical knowledge of the main controlling instruments
  • Good experience in project management and project controlling
  • Good methodological skills, e.g., in presentation techniques and efficient order clarification
  • Very good MS Office skills and BI/SAP user skills
