Your Tasks
As the Operational Head of the Global Brand Protection Unit of Beiersdorf, your job is to secure the integrity, the Brand Value and the reputation of our products, worldwide, against the threat from counterfeit (fake) production.
Your responsibilities will include the following

Working closely with global and national authorities and law enforcement agencies, such as the World Customs Organization, Interpol, etc, as well as with International Right holders Associations. You will also constantly manage and develop IP awareness training with these institutions.

To raise and maintain internal visibility to the subject, you will be required to work closely with the Heads of various internal departments, e.g., Supply Chain, E-Commerce and Sales, an co-operate with the General Managers and Heads of Sales at our Beiersdorf affiliate companies across the world.

You will lead an experienced international team of IP enforcement experts and external consultants, based in different geographies, e.g. China, Russia, India and UAE . Your role will be to ensure the constant development and implementation of both our global and any regional specific Brand Protection strategies, providing effective leadership to the afore-mentioned team throughout.
Your Profile
To fit this role, you should ideally have either a background in security and/or criminal investigation, or a managerial background at Beiersdorf, with a strong international footprint, and at least 10-12 years of professional experience.
Further, you must have strong intercultural experiences to cope with the different cultural background of relevant authorities, suppliers and employees. Your international mindset is also proven by having worked in a different cultural geography, and being able to speak English very well, and preferably (an)other foreign language.
