Your Tasks

"Capex & Facilities" Procurement at Beiersdorf Group is an international team of Global and Regional Category Managers covering the Categories Real Estate, Engineering, Construction, Machines, Facility Management, Facility Services and Energy supply. This team is responsible for Investment Procurement support of our global portfolio of production centers, laboratories, technology centers, distribution centers, management units and facilities in 150 affiliates around the globe. Our business is dealing with high investment volumes and demand portfolios where strategic procurement, project management and contract management skills are required. For this team we are currently searching a part time support in the role as Working Student.


Drive Beiersdorf's global success by actively contributing to the improvement of supply chain, procurement and contract & claim management processes during your working student activity. We will give you the opportunity to be part of creating, implementing and living CCM-standards and being an active part of successful results. A close collaboration with Global Category Management, Project Management and Procurement Lead for priorities and support will be necessary.


Typical tasks within the scope of the activity are e.g.:
•    Together with Procurement Management: Develop global standards, Ways of Working, tools, lessons learned for Contract & Claim Management
•    Contract Management Support: Create contract transparency, checking deliverables, time, costs according to contract, develop guidance for Procurement and demand owners on site
•    Change Order & Claim Management Support: Develop and implement standards for official correspondence with contractor (notice of defect / obstruction / discomfort), Advice how to monitor, document, evaluate, negotiate changes in scope, cost and time, documentation and defend claims for defects for all parties
•    Cross-functional and international collaboration with relevant partners in supply chain regarding demand planning, contract management, claim management, supplier management
•    Procurement support at market research, tender process, evaluations, supplier assessments, contracting
•    Working with IT systems relevant to Procurement (SAP, SRM, Ariba, SAP BW)


For this a part time support with average 15-20 hours per week over a period of one year is required. Flexibility for balancing studies and work is possible and to be discussed.

Your Profile

  • Advanced studies in business law, national / international construction law or similar, ideally with a focus on engineering and construction in industry
  • Regularly registered in University during the entire working student activity
  • Beneficial would be initial experience through internships or working student activities in legal, engineering, construction or procurement
  • Interested in the supply chain of engineering & construction industry
  • Skilled and confident handling of MS Office Tools (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Analytical skills, ability to analyse complex topics and processes, independent and structured approach to work
  • Very good communication skills in German and English (fluent in written and spoken) is mandatory
  • Interest and enjoy working in international environments and culture

YOUR SALARY

Curious about your salary? Your work at Beiersdorf will be fairly remunerated, both with a voluntary internship and with a compulsory internship you earn 2.025 € per month. For a working student activity, our salary is 19,39€ per hour.
