The programme is an international programme that starts with a rotation in HQ Hamburg, Germany and is followed by further steps in Mumbai, India. As a Research & Development trainee, you will explore a variety of topics depending on your interests. From discovery to product development to consumer studies – everything can be part of your journey. You will work within different Research & Development teams, focusing on your own projects and/or gaining deep insights into day‑to‑day operations. As the programme aims to prepare you to navigate and steer future Research & Development challenges, you will work with global and regional teams to gain a holistic perspective on the R&D world. From day one, you will take ownership to co‑create and help shape the future of our company.

Your Profile
- A university degree (Bachelor / Master) in a life‑science field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Product Development, (Molecular) Biology, Data Science) from a Premier / Tier1 institute
- Willingness to develop into a future leader with gaining experience in Headquater Hamburg, Germany right from the start
- Visible leadership potential through responsibility‑taking and collaboration
- Genuine enthusiasm for scientific innovation and skincare development
- Strong analytical abilities and digital affinity paired with creative scientific thinking
- Flexibility, strong communication, teamwork strength, and initiative
- Motivation to lead scientific or product‑related projects
- Passion for combining scientific rigour with creativity to create impactful products

- At leaset 6 months of practical experience through relevant internships
It is an 18-month trainee opportunity based at the R&D Office – Mumbai. The first step, starting in September 2026, will take place in Hamburg Germany and requires travels to Hamburg throughout the programme. After the initial step, the role requires working from the office in Mumbai, India and will be on a direct contract with the organization.
