Your Tasks

Role Purpose
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and increase market share through effective management of our customer relationships and channel partnerships. This role will collaborate closely with Shopper & Customer Marketing Lead Market and Head of Shopper & Customer Marketing on all Sales & Shopper related programs (AVC, Active accounts, T10, CWD, CSR & Win In Innovation) & bringing the Category success model to live.

Key Accountabilities

  • Channel Strategy & Management : Defining channel strategy and tactics by Retail environment across all categories (Cosmetics, Derma & Healthcare)
  • Performance Management : Work with Lead Market on identified channel issues/opportunities across all the categories.
  • Customer Engagement : Work in collaboration with SCM Category Managers & Channel Head in defining fit for use customer presentation & T2T engagements.
  • Thematic/Programs : Work with Lead Market on Sales & Shopper Related Programs (AVC, Active accounts, T10, CWD, CSR, Win in Innovation & Category Success Model)
  • TRAX: Build quality content (MSL & Display) and work with Customer team to address gaps & opportunities
  • Develop channel strategies and plan in line with company ABP objective and direction across all categories.
  • Channel & Customer Performance tracking : Monitor channel performance and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Channel and Customer Promotions : Ensure effective execution of trade promotions and marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Identify and evaluate channel distribution potential , develop plan to maximize channel business opportunities.
  • Ensure channel/customer management, promotion pricing and in store execution guideline compliance according to defined strategies by RE
  • Commercial Management : Track and maintain channel investments as well as ensuring investments remain within plans.
  • Market analysis & Competitive intelligence : Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity.
  • Insights : Leverage insights to develop new channel strategies or refine existing ones to stay competitive. Work in collaboration with Lead Market to gather best practice in the region that translates channel & customer insights into action.

Your Profile

  • At least 7-8 years of experience in FMCG Commercial (trade/shopper marketing, channel & category marketing). Possess understanding of channel insights and proven analytical skills in data.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data to inform strategy.
  • Knowledge of information system tools (AC Nielsen)
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in fast paced environment.
  • Leadership and Collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
