Your Tasks
Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements in Mexico and Central America, related to the labeling of cosmetic products.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation, compilation, and strategically planned submission of regulatory packages and applications to the appropriate authorities, aligning with overarching business goals and regulatory compliance strategies.
- Ensure products comply with local and international regulatory standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sanitary regulations and standards in Mexico and Central America, and ensure the company’s products meet these requirements.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Manage and mentor a team of regulatory professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organization.
- Provide training and support to staff on regulatory matters.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of regulatory submissions, approvals, and RAO management activities.
- Prepare regular reports on regulatory performance for management team.
- Ensure all product documentation is complete, accurate, and readily accessible.
External Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, industry groups, and external partners.
- Represent the company in regulatory discussions.
Technical expertise
- Provide technical regulatory advice to internal stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and quality assurance teams.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documentation and filings to relevant authorities.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs.
- Experience working with regulatory authorities and industry bodies
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic Knowledge of supply chain management
- In-depth knowledge of advertising approval processes and regulatory requirements for cosmetic or pharmaceutical products in Mexico and Central America.
- Strong risk management skills with the ability to balance regulatory compliance and business needs.
- Proficiency in regulatory documentation and submission processes.
