Your Tasks
This role is responsible for optimizing the Material Requirements Planning process to ensure the timely availability of materials necessary for efficient production operations.
Material Planning and Ordering
- Develop and maintain accurate material requirements plans to ensure timely ordering of RM and PM based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
Production Schedule Alignment
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure that the production schedule is feasible and that all necessary materials are available to meet production targets.
Issue Resolution
- Proactively identify and address potential material shortages or disruptions, working closely with the Detailed Scheduler and NIP to implement corrective actions.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between various departments, including production, procurement, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding material availability and planning.
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material supply and inventory levels, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the overall maturity and reliability of the material supply chain, driving initiatives for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Compliance with Procurement Policy
- To correct Operational Sourcing Model (OSM)
- Contract Planning / Contract Manager pooling align with Global Category Manager (GCM)
Operational Supplier Performance Management
- The job holder performs other related tasks assigned by superior on supplier performance or process improvement projects to align with KPIs.
Inventory Healthiness
- The incumbent secures that inventories levels are monitored with regards to inventory healthiness as well as adequate inventory levels according to coverage targets.
- To manage Critical Stock and coordinates the handling of CSI with Warehouse, Quality Assurance and NIP.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field focused on Planning and Supply Chain.
- 3-5 years of experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Planning, or related fields, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in SAP, Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), and Operations Management Planning (OMP) systems.
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting is a plus.
- Experience working in an international company, particularly in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
- Proven ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and effectively manage complex situations while fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
- Strong capability to drive long-term improvements in material planning processes and contribute to strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on building strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights to optimize material planning and inventory management.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement, agility in adapting to change, and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication in a global business environment.
