Your Tasks

As Global Category Manager Packaging Procurement & Innovation (all genders) you will have the opportunity to shape the packaging supply chain of our future products. By applying global procurement strategies, you partner with our suppliers and take responsibility for managing our innovation and value engineering projects, strongly impacting our growth and cost targets. In this role you report to the Team Leader Packaging Procurement & Innovations.

Your tasks in the area of innovation projects are in detail:

  • Performing project related market research
  • Preparing and implementing proper supplier decisions, contracts and documentation
  • Conducting RFQs and supplier negotiations
  • Executing supplier evaluations and onboarding of new suppliers
  • Aligning logistic requirements with production sites and 3PMs
  • Ensuring master data availability and quality within innovation projects

Your Profile

  • Professional experience in procurement in the cosmetics, food or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in packaging
  • University degree in business, economics or engineering
  • Analytical team player, accustomed to working in cross-functional and international teams
  • Strong leadership skills, such as motivating others, building effective teams, communication; strong self-confidence
  • Willingness to (intercontinental) travel, approx. 25%.
  • Safe handling of the Microsoft Office package
  • Fluent English skills required, other languages are a plus
