As Quality & Regulatory Affairs Officer you will provide operational support to Northern Europe Management Unit in aspects of quality control, quality assurance of products and systems with continuous improvements to the related processes. Ensuring that service and product quality meet Beiersdorf, customer and local standards, including continuous support for Value Added Services and warehouse stock management activities.
Your Tasks
Quality Control of Beiersdorf products

Maintain quality systems and functions which establish suitable control, quarantine, and release of products.

Support Quality Control in Repack operations.

Ensure ‘Goldseal’ sample checks are performed and approved in a timely manner.

Control the movement of stock where it is batch controlled, retained, pre-quality control release, returned or damaged.

Maintain an ‘early waning’ system for products with expiring shelf life.

Liaise with production centres and 3PM’s to help resolve any product quality queries.

Ensure warehouse processes are robust and effective.

Ensure that day-to-day quality related activities are dealt with in an ethically, legally compliant, courteous, accurate and timely manner.

Develop strong relationships with key supply chain contacts at all relevant levels and agree on joint ways of working.
Quality Assurance

As key user monitor, track, and report on quality issues through existing systems.

Review, update, and train out local standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for quality related function.

Support the UK business with activities to maintain best practice processes in relation to corporate quality standards.

All product damage complaints reported.
Technical and Regulatory Support

To support Value Added Services (VAS) stock management by working with key stakeholders to ensure full traceability.

Support customer reported quality related queries and copacker quality queries relating to VAS.

Manage stock which is warehouse related such as blocking and unblocking of stock.

Review and approve local artworks with marketing and gifting teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Have a good understanding of Packaging waste regulations with the ability to generate, collaborate and analyse large amount of packaging data in an efficient way to support packaging waste submissions.

Lead the process of UK cosmetic notifications, ensuring all information is obtained in a timely manner and new products are notified in advance of being available in the market.
