Data Protection Manager / Legal Counsel (all genders) limited for 1 year

Your Tasks

  • Plan and conduct projects and project management activities
  • Contribute to further development of the Beiersdorf data protection organization, processes and systems in Germany, Switzerland, and Europe
  • Take the lead in ensuring data protection documentation together with selected business functions and subsidiaries
  • Support in the identification and evaluation of data protection risks
  • Support in the prevention, detection, reaction to, monitoring and reporting of data protection violations
  • Define and test technical and organizational measures
  • Audit and monitor data processing operations in the context of audits
  • Create of training materials for employee and management training

Your Profile

  • University degree in law combined with strong IT knowledge or an IT background with profound legal skills
  • several years of relevant working experience with data protection related
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Knowledge in the field of data protection management (German data protection law BDSG and EU GDPR, Swiss DSG), ideally based on practical experience in this area
  • Knowledge and experience in project management
  • Experience in the field of information technology and in data collection and processing
  • Deeper basic knowledge in the field of compliance management systems and risk management desirable
  • Experience in communication, training and auditing desirable
  • Motivated, constructive and flexible work attitude
  • Proactive, structured and independent working style
  • Organisational talent, dynamic, strong communication skills, creative
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English, spoken and written, knowledge of another foreign language a plus
  • Secure handling of MS Office, knowledge of MS Sharepoint is an advantage
