Your Tasks

As Production Center Director you are leading the production center to achieve financial and strategic objectives ensuring the future growth and sustainability of the site.
Furthermore, you are ensuring the manufacturing operations development to achieve profitable growth as well as site controls in place in terms of Health & Safety, Environment & Quality within the operations.
As Production Center Director you provide leadership & set standards to the production team driving operational improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Owner of the mission, vision and values of the Production Center aligned with the Beiersdorf way.
  • Responsibility for the financial and production results of the site.
  • Develop strategies and action plans, in line with the Company strategic plans.
  • Ensure an engagement culture as a top priority developing future leaders.
  • Provide strategic direction and tactical support to the Leadership Team.
  • Build relationships with the different stakeholders to sustain organic growth.
  • Implement a culture of continuous improvement, introducing best practices, new ideas and opportunities.
  • Create cooperative and effective relationships with unions/staff representatives.
  • Guarantee a safe and secure work environment "Culture of Zero Accidents"
  • Promote synergies and cooperation throughout the Region.

Your Profile

  • University degree in technical engineering such as industrial, mechanical or electrical.
  • Several years of experience in leadership positions, preferably in consumer goods production companies and Manufacturing function.
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performance teams.
  • Knowledge in TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Innovative mindset.
  • Fluent English skills. German Language skills are a big plus.
  • Availability for an international career development.
