Controlling Manager - Marketing

Responsibilities

1. Steer NIVEA Category P&L (GS-MII) as well as gap analysis YTD vs. Plan/Forecast and LY

  • YTD performance of NS, Gross Margin, and marketing budget plus YTG forecast in P&L system comparing to most recent forecast
  • Perform Gross Margin Analysis for the respective categories
  • Advice the MKT Managers on their Marketing Budgets, understand risks and chances and secure no overspend
  • Drive MKT Budget efficiency – perform ROI analysis of activities
  • Category Profitability analysis -> drive sustainable biz performance of the assigned categories through intensive and proactive business partnering
  • Monthly commentary with recommendation on the ToGo

2. Perform monthly closing activities for marketing spend.

3. Prepare bottom up forecasts and annual business plan for responsible Categories based on  S&OP

Qualifications

  • Master, MBA or MBA equivalent at a leading Business School
  • 3-4 years of working experience within an FMCG Company
  • Strategic thinking and strong data analysis ability, able to read through financial trend and market data – being able to translate data into recommendations
  • Willingness to go the extra mile – ambitious winning mindset, yet humble
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, open-minded, passionate about teamwork/winning together,
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, Strong knowledge in XLS, PPT, BI/POWER BI, SAP
  • Local Contract.
