Your Tasks
The individual will be part of the ASEAN MU Marketing team and reports to the ASEAN Marketing Manager. The key purpose of the position is to plan, steer and monitor the full range of ASEAN MU marketing categories and activities within the defined MU`s and Region to maximize the regional/local power of our Beiersdorf brands as well as to generate significant competitive advantages and to secure the MU sales/market targets according to the overall global and regional business strategy.
ASEAN Strategy

Defining and implementing the ASEAN category strategy, in alignment with overall Regional/Global strategy. Supporting and consulting the ASEAN affiliates regarding the implementation of the strategy at the local level.
Core Business

Deep understanding of market landscape, consumer needs and insights, in each of the ASEAN affiliates, initiating recommendations with regards to improving market brand positions, category portfolio, price positioning, communication.

Together with the ASEAN affiliates, identify BDI (Business Development Initiatives) to drive growths on core business by ensuring that the MU interests are captured. Drive consumer insight projects in support of BDIs.
Communication

Represents ASEAN and liaise between Regional Team (Brand Team + CDU) to give input, feedback to CDU for best campaign materials for ASEAN.

Works with ASEAN MM to align campaign list, scope of work, budget within ASEAN countries for alignment with key stakeholders

Support Marketing Manager in strategy of responsible categories for ASEAN
Product (Re-)Launches/Innovation Support

Liaises between Regional Team and ASEAN affiliates to evaluate potential of product launches/re-launches. Giving input and feedback to EM Team with the objective of delivering relevant NPDs for ASEAN

Estimating business potential & finalizing business cases of new launches for the MU with the recommendation for country “launch or no-launch” decisions.

Keeps ASEAN affiliate stakeholders updated on project development and timelines.

Works closely with SCM ASEAN, Supply Chain, Production Center and Regional marketing and other related dept. on ASEAN level launch and re-launch activities topics.
Pricing and Assortment Management

Defining together with the markets the selling prices and ensuring the monitoring of compliance with the set prices. Assortment analysis and driving it in conjunction with the strategy.
Leadership

Guiding, motivating, collaborating and working closely with Regional, Global (BAH), ASEAN Affiliates and X-functional teams.
