Your Tasks

Our Global Consumer Intelligence Team NIVEA/Eucerin is working truly internationally in a diverse team. Some of the team members even work from other places in the world and we are now looking for an experienced Team Lead Global Consumer Intelligence NIVEA/Eucerin, based in Hamburg/Germany to lead the team and drive consumer centricity within the organization.

Your tasks in detail:

  • Drive consumer first thinking and consumer centricity within the organization.
  • Plan, steer and monitor strategy, innovation, and best-in-class market research projects.
  • Drive the digital transformation of Beiersdorf’s global market research unit with frontrunner state-of-the-art market research approaches.
  • Embrace (digital) consumer centricity: actively fueling the business with consumer insights; drive usage of new tools and technologies (AI, NLP, machine-learning, etc.).
  • Identify lose data points, connect the dots between different data sources, identify patterns by smart analyses, and derive actionable consumer insights for the business.
  • Untap the potential of big consumer data with the help of AI-based solutions for next-level consumer insighting.
  • Lead and manage a team of 9 direct reports in an international set-up.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's in Business Administration or Socio-Economics preferred.
  • 8+ years of professional market research expertise in a Research Agency or Management Consulting and/or FMCG industry
  • Proven track record of leading bigger sized international teams.
  • Highly experienced in market research ad-hoc methodology and proven use of a future-proof repertoire of research tools as well as new digital market research tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially in the transfer of research results and connecting various data points into actionable marketing decisions.
  • Building good working relationships with internal stakeholders of different departments to drive cross-functional cooperation and information flow.
  • Outstanding communication skills paired with strong persuasiveness.
  • Strong ability to work in teams, reliability, and a can-do attitude.
  • Proven skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
  • Fluency in English (in speech and writing).
