Finance Manager for new plant in Leipzig (f/m/d)

  • Actively manage the greenfield project financially
  • Provide an objective viewpoint on the business situation of the project, highlight deviations and initiate countermeasures
  • Act as key co-pilot for the project manager and all stakeholders
  • Lead the Finance, Controlling and IT workstream for the Greenfield project along the full project life cycle (design, construction, ramp-up) and successfully hand-over to operation
  • Build-up the finance & and controlling and IT team for the future factory
  • Lead all planning, forecasting, and reporting processes related to the project and related projects within the European network in close alignment with the global and local Finance teams
  • Gather, analyze and prepare financial information as basis for planning, steering and decision processes on senior executive level
  • Planning and Forecasting for annual business planning processes including target setting
  • Manage and report risk and opportunities, ensure target achievement
  • Set-up and maintain respective reporting processes and tools including change management / change orders
  • Manage all accounting, tax and legal activities related to the project

Your Profile

  • University degree in economics or business administration
  • Several years of relevant job experience in Finance/Controlling
  • Experience in large-scale investment projects
  • Extensive P&L knowledge, strong business acumen
  • Willingness to move later from Hamburg to Leipzig
  • Experienced user of MS Office, SAP and BI
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German
  • Team player paired with strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, independent and structured result orientated working method, ability to get things done, “hands-on” mentality
  • Strong own initiative; goal and performance-oriented
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
