Your Tasks

We are the Startup Scouting Team within Beiersdorf's global R&D division, tasked with identifying strategic technology startups for Beiersdorf’s R&D Open Innovation.

As a member of our team, you will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Identifying new online sources for tech startups
  • Scouting interesting technology and life science startups in specialized databases and online tools
  • Conducting initial evaluations of startups based on predefined criteria
  • Initiating written contact with the startups
  • Supporting our team with responsibilities such as gathering background information, creating presentations, and managing databases

Your Profile

  • To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master's program with a focus on Business Chemistry, Business Engineering, or Business Informatics, having completed at least three successful academic semesters.
  • Maintaining active student status throughout the whole duration as a working student.
  • A keen interest in exploring new technologies, emerging startup business models, and innovative ideas.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of database usage and online research tools being advantageous.
  • Experience in crafting effective presentation slides, conducting data analysis and market research, and adeptly presenting and summarizing information would be highly valued.
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English, with a good understanding of German.
  • Demonstrated high level of dedication, self-initiative, and a collaborative spirit within a team environment.

YOUR SALARY

Curious about your salary? Your work at Beiersdorf will be fairly remunerated, both with a voluntary internship and with a compulsory internship you earn 2.000 € per month. For a working student activity, our salary is 18,78€ per hour.
