Your Tasks
The Process Systems Engineering department at Beiersdorf drives the development of core technologies for cosmetics production in our plants worldwide. We define technology concepts, establish design principles and standards for process systems and lead technical investment projects in collaboration with international teams.
We are looking for a highly motivated intern (all genders) to support our team in the development and design of production and supply systems with a strong focus on sustainability and efficiency. This role is directly related to our sustainability agenda, especially in Black and White Utilities.
Your key tasks:
- Optimization of processes to drive standardization and increase efficiency
- Independently manage smaller projects from follow-up to implementation
- Carry out in-depth analyses and concept studies for water, cleaning and supply processes
- Perform data analysis and visualization using Excel and PowerPoint
- Support project managers in day-to-day business
- Document technical specifications to ensure process clarity and compliance
What you will be working on:
- Advanced mixing systems
- Technologies for the handling of raw materials and bulk materials
- Peripheral supply and disposal processes, including water treatment, purification and supply
Your Profile
- Enrolled in a technical degree program (e.g., Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields)
- Fluent in English, with basic German skills preferred
- Passion for solving process engineering challenges
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick grasp of complex topics
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Independent, structured, and detail-oriented approach to work
- Eager to learn, adapt, and take initiative
