Area Sales Manager (Central)

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and align with organizational goals.
  • Formulate plans to achieve sales targets.

Leadership and Direction:

  • Provide clear leadership to the sales team, guiding them in the implementation of the sales strategy.
  • Direct the activities of the sales team to ensure alignment with the established sales objectives.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Continuously monitor the performance of the sales team within the specified region.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales activities and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Communicate, and ensure understanding of sales targets within the team

Collaboration:

  • Foster collaboration within the sales team and with other relevant departments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to achieving sales targets.

Market Insight:

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Use market insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as necessary.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Regularly communicate with higher management on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Provide detailed and timely reports on the activities and outcomes of the sales team.

Key Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business development or other related fields
  • At least 3 years’ managerial role experience in FMCG industry preferably beauty or personal care industry
  • Analytical, business acumen, negotiation, customer-oriented, presentation and result-driven
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Good command in English both spoken and written
