Your Tasks

As Key Account Manager – Pharmacy Channel , you will be responsible for developing & maintaining long term relationship with several customers in the pharmacy channel (parapharmacies, cooperative & private groups, wholesalers, homes) while maximizing sales opportunities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Customer strategy:

  • Clear understanding of all customers’ needs and requirements.
  • Expand the relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet customers’ objectives in line with sales strategy.

Business Planning, Budget and Reporting:

  • Develop and execute an annual, medium- and long-term sales plan that ensures the delivery of brand, category and customer objectives (Net Sales, Market Share, Gross Margin, etc.).
  • Develop customer marketing plan ensuring efficient and excellent POS & execution at the retailer.
  • Monitor and evaluate variance to plan and proposes counter measures ensuring their effective implement.
  • Seek for opportunities to grow in a market with fast-paced changing retailer/shopper dynamics.

Pricing & Promotions:

  • Implement the agreed list price to ensure delivery of profit targets in consultation with Finance and in line with agreed mandates.
  • Prepare and implement, in agreement with the Shopper & Customer Manager, the customer promotion plan ensuring alignment with the objectives of the sales plan

Point-of-Sale & Customer relationships:

  • Deliver the agreed objectives within the annual customer plans for product distribution and display at the POS, maximizing the accessibility of Beiersdorf products to the consumer
  • Develop broad based strategic business relationship across the customers to ensure an integrated business to business relationship.
  • Develops and executes action plans to meet our targets.

Your Profile

What it takes to join us:

  • Relevant degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing
  • Ideally a first sales experience of 2-3 years within FMCG / Pharma
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch – French & English
  • Strong aptitude in building relationships on all organizational levels
  • Commercial & strategic mindset with customer focus
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Winning & can-do mentality, results driven
  • Strong cross functional collaboration in matrix structures
  • Agile to change / always open to find new opportunities
