Your Tasks
Role Purpose
- Lead and partner with the business to deliver a robust, unbiased demand forecast, ensuring a single aligned plan drives decision-making and future direction.
- Own and lead the end-to-end Demand & Supply Planning process to ensure optimal product availability while balancing service level, cost, and working capital.
Key Accountabilities
Supply Chain Strategy
- Partner with the Supply Chain Director to develop Demand & Supply Planning strategies aligned with country and ASEAN Supply Chain priorities.
Forecast Management
- Lead cross-functional collaboration (SCM, Marketing, Sales) to develop data-driven operational forecasts and annual business plans.
- Facilitate S&OP processes (Forecast Calibration, Consensus Meetings) to align stakeholders and drive coordinated actions.
- Challenge promotion and NPD forecasts, including cannibalization impact on base products.
- Improve forecast accuracy through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Drive plans for clearance of excess or aging inventory (e.g., promo, PIPO, slow movers).
- Ensure monthly demand plan roll-over to support accurate replenishment planning.
Inventory Management
- Define and monitor optimal inventory targets aligned with business direction.
- Lead supply planning activities including replenishment, inventory control, VAS planning, and exception handling.
- Collaborate with Production Centre to synchronize demand and supply plans.
- Ensure alignment between replenishment plans and shipment sales phasing.
- Identify and reduce out-of-stock risks and undelivered orders to improve service levels.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Monitor and report key KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, BIAS, Customer Service Level).
- Provide regular analysis of actual vs forecast performance and highlight key risks/issues.
- Ensure inventory integrity and transparency across planning processes.
- Support S&OP reviews with relevant insights and recommendations.
Customer Collaboration
- Lead collaborative planning initiatives with key customers to align demand and supply plans.
Projects & Best Practice Sharing
- Lead or support supply chain projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Drive adoption and sharing of best practices across MU ASEAN.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve high performance.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management in partnership with HR.
- Contribute to personnel decisions and foster a high-performance culture within the team.
Your Profile
Key Requirements
- Strong background in demand planning and supply planning of FMCG industry.
- A Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent plus a minimum of 8 years of related forecasting/supply planning experience and at least 3 years experience working in management level.
- S&OP experience
- Strong analytical skill and leadership skill
- Good for the oral and written in communication skills
- Good command of the English language
- PC Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SAP
- Outstanding relationship building skills with internal & external business partners
- Collaborate with key stakeholders internal and external to identify opportunities for integration of planning process
