Head of Supply Chain, CEWA (Lagos based)

Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Head for CEWA is a member of the CEWA and the SC Africa Middle East Leadership Team and is responsible for leading the Supply Chain strategies and operations for our Kenia and Nigeria affiliates. This role reports functionally to the AME Supply Chain Director with a legal reporting line to the General Manager CEWA. Working in a matrix structure with multiple stakeholders, the Supply Chain Head will work with the Regional/Global team and Middle East Leadership Team to execute on Supply Chain strategies and initiatives.

Main Accountabilities

  • Participate in the development of the overall business strategy as member of the CEWA Leadership Team.
  • Define, drive & execute the Supply Chain strategy for CEWA to ensure the delivery of quality, cost and customer service objectives as well as digitalization.
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain processes from MU S&OP, demand planning, customer operations and SC customer collaboration, logistics, value added services, local quality assurance and regulatory affairs as well as supply chain development to identify optimization opportunities and influencing stakeholders to deliver best overall business outcomes.
  • Drive lighthouse projects in Supply Chain for CEWA.
  • Liaise with functional stakeholders to ensure effective matrix management of business-critical activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective supply chain and customer management relationships with key customers, suppliers and other partners.
  • Responsible for budgeting, project management and oversight of relevant departmental change programs to effectively define and deliver a continuous improvement agenda for own span of control.
  • Define organizational structure and capabilities within CEWA to achieve efficiency and business objectives.
  • Guide, coach, develop and engage our Supply Chain team with a strong “One Team” mentality.
