Legal Counsel - CAPEX projects (all genders)

Your Tasks

As Legal Counsel with your focus on International Construction Law you will support Beiersdorf in its international CAPEX projects and in the procurement of process technology, logistics equipment and machinery. You will also be the legal contact for all related Real Estate and Facility Management topics. Your tasks will range from contract drafting and negotiation to claim management and risk assessment, you acting as legal business partner and adviser to internal stakeholders and as coordinator of external legal counsels.

You will be the legal expert in your dedicated field of law, staying ahead of any legal developments and continuously evolving our contract templates. You will join a team of legal experts in the fields of Marketing, Media, IT, R&D, Logistics and Sales, closely collaborating with the legal colleagues in the regional and local teams as one global legal team. You will contribute to the training of non-legal colleagues and work on the contract standardization, process harmonization and digitalization of the team.

Your Profile

  • University degree in law with state exams graded with at least fully satisfactory (“vollbefriedigend”) or equivalent international qualifications with profound legal skills
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in international construction law, in particular with FIDIC Yellow and Red Book
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Knowledge in the relevant business fields
  • Knowledge and experience in project management
  • Motivated, constructive and flexible work attitude
  • Proactive, structured and independent working style with an entrepreneurial and digital mindset
  • Organizational talent, dynamic, strong communication skills,
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English, spoken and written, knowledge of another foreign language a plus
