Working Student Supply Chain - Strategic Capacity Management & IT (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Support of the global strategic network and capacity Management in implementing and optimizing business processes in the area of Supply network modelling and Strategic Capacity planning
  • Support developing an IT solution with handling big databases to foster decision processes for an optimal supply network
  • Support in developing planning concepts and underlying analytics
  • Support in developing Make or buy concepts
  • Support to develop category strategies with optimal supply solutions
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and management reports to support decision-making and evaluations
  • Analysis, documentation and optimization of business processes
  • Project support with focus on production, replenishment and supply planning or business analytics
  • Developing and implementing KPIs
  • Data gathering, data consolidation and data preparation for implementing new data moulds for advanced analytics

Your Profile

  • Advanced studies in economics, ideally with focus on business informatics, business analytics, controlling, industrial engineering, or supply chain
  • Enrolled during the whole working student activity
  • First experience from previous internships and/or working student positions
  • High interest in quantitative methods and information technologies
  • Distinct understanding of numbers, analytical thinking and an independent and structured way of working
  • Good Knowledge in SAP and MS Office
  • Handling of big data and data management
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and Access or other database tools
  • Power BI capapilites would be of great advantage
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, other language skills would be a plus
