Your Tasks
In this role, the incumbent will be needed to develop products and technologies for relevant categories. He/she needs to support formula development activities in the project and deliver different activities of product development in time with quality research & development.
Key Responsibilities
- Project or Insight Management
- Support Formula Development Projects: The job holder supports formula development project work by conducting laboratory trials and associated activities, ensuring timely provision of all relevant project information, results, documentation, and milestone updates to support effective decision-making.
- Management of Low-Complexity Innovation Projects: The job holder manages selected low-complexity innovation project activities across various approaches. This includes defining, planning, and executing actions independently to ensure efficient progress and successful delivery of innovative objectives.
- Support of Complex, Long-Term Initiatives: The job holder contributes to shaping complex, long-term initiatives related to digitalization and sustainability. This includes developing and establishing future-oriented, AI-driven, and structured formula development approaches to support strategic transformation.
- Novel Technology/Capability Development:
- Support Value Management (VM) approaches: Job holder should be able to support value management analysis and activities for categories.
- Different category/market/consumer understanding: Job holder should be able to support on category understanding. He/she should be able to support on competition understanding, consumer understanding, technology mapping and technology development.
- Support for Patent filing: Job holder should be able to support patents drafting in defining invention and disclosures.
- Workflow know how: Job Holder should be able to manage R&D (Research & Development) workflows on formula databases, Stability tests, micro, safety assessment, registration process, etc.
- Organisation Task: Enabling site and team organizational solution by participating in India R&D workgroups on safety, culture, and simplification.
Your Profile
- Education: M. Pharma, M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry, B. Tech/M. Tech in Chemical Engineering / Cosmetic Science / Biotechnology and related education
- Experience: Experience 1-3 years in the field of formulation development preferably in the field of Skin Care, Body Care, Deodorants and Shower .
- Technical: Knowledge of basic sciences, formulation development, and stability monitoring.
- Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the FMCG business environment.
- Communication: Communicates clearly, fluently, and effectively with individuals and groups, using appropriate style and language.
- Presentation & Analytics: Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel; methodical, systematic, and demonstrates strong logical reasoning.
- Future-Oriented Skills and Competencies: Practical understanding of AI, digitalization, and sustainability concepts, and their application in day-to-day work.
- Interpersonal Skills: Influencing and persuasion skills; collaborates effectively, motivates and empowers others, and ensures efficient coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Project Management: Ability to work on projects within defined timelines while managing constraints and priorities.
- Internal Stakeholder Management: collaborate with Beiersdorf interface partners (e.g., Product Testing, QM (Quality Management), Safety, Development labs, legal, marketing) as well as participating in internal R&D working groups.
- External Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with RM (Raw Materials) suppliers external and innovative partners.
