For our Brussels based office, Beiersdorf Belgium is looking for a Senior Brand Manager – Nivea Skin Care (SUN, Body and APC – all purpose creams) - 1 year temporary contract .
As Senior Brand Manager, you will be part of the BNL Marketing team, and will be based in Brussels. The SkinCare team consist of one BNL Marketing Manager (based in NL), a Senior Brand Manager, Junior Brand manager and an intern in both Belgium and the Netherlands. You will work in close collaboration with your NL counterparts and also with other disciplines such as Category Management, RGM, Media, Sales, Finance, E-com etc.
Your main purpose will be to define and execute the local marketing strategy for the responsible Brand Group(s), based on the international portfolio to ensure meeting set objectives in market shares, sales and profitability.

Daily Management of the product categories:
- definition and implementation of successful launches and relaunches incl. analysis, follow-up of supply chain data, forecasting, follow-up of activation plans / follow-up of the core product portfolio;
- Manage and coach your direct report: the Junior Brand Manager.

Business steering:
- Understanding of challenges and opportunities for NIVEA SUN, Body and APC with clear recommendations for the future
- Responsible to steer and build action plan to reach Market Share KPIs
- Ongoing generation of local insights to develop impactful and efficient action plans and identify the business opportunities to reinforce your categories in Netherlands / Belgium.

Market analysis & performance tracking:
- Analysis of the sell-in and sell-out results, follow up the competition activities (media, innovations, activities) and landscape, market evolution in terms of product and habits / trend, VMS forecasting.
- Define and implement the local marketing strategy and plans based on the marketing mix levers and apply in the best way possible the international guidelines & strategies to the local market situation
- Implement and execute marketing and media campaigns that are defined together with the Media and Marketing Manager
- Leverage partnerships and bring them to a new and higher level
- Owning the non-working marketing budget of your categories
- Engaging and motivating key stakeholders to maximize your category performance
