Marketing Controlling MU

Your Tasks

Role Purpose:
As MU Marketing Controller you are acting as finance business partner to local Marketing and Shopper & Customer Marketing Teams across 9 different affiliates. Influencing and guiding stake holders into a sustainable profitable growth with focus on brand categories and marketing investments is key in this role.


Main Accountabilities:

  • Analyze efficiency of marketing investments and generate insight-based proposals for future investment allocations.
  • Analyze product assortment efficiency and provide recommendations for future assortment portfolio.
  • Support strategic evaluations of business opportunities and product (re-)launches by providing structured, ROI-based financial assessment.
  • Coordinate the marketing budget planning and steering processes across all MU affiliates and act as guardian of the marketing budget planning tool.
  • Ensure financial stability by delivering high-quality marketing budget accruals, and timely and correct reporting of relevant investment bucket details.
  • Co-create modern planning and reporting tools to support marketing business steering.
  • Conduct internal audit tasks to evaluate internal process and compliance risks, propose corrective actions and drive their implementation.

Your Profile

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • University degree, preferably in Economics or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years in finance controlling areas.
  • High skills in MS Office (specially excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and collaborative working style.
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
