Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the technical team and for the development and implementation of industrial technical projects aimed at improving operations through technological innovations, in collaboration with the headquarters. Accountable for the financial and physical control of technical projects, participation in improvement groups using specific ManEx methods for process optimization and cost reduction, and people management.
Strategy
Lead the Site Development Plan (SDP) by consolidating key business needs for the next 10 years and proposing viable alternatives to effectively address them.
Key Responsibilities
Detail engineering projects (asset design, cost structure, timeline, resources, etc.) and lead their implementation across construction, installation, and commissioning phases, ensuring delivery to operational areas under agreed success criteria.
Liaise with national and international suppliers involved in new projects, overseeing orders, execution schedules, and deliveries.
Prioritize investment opportunities and/or operational impacts on the plant to eliminate losses and costs using MANEX tools.
Participate in improvement groups addressing various operational issues, developing technical solutions for quality and productivity challenges in current processes.
Stay updated on cosmetic/pharmaceutical production technologies, establishing technical benchmarks for the Itatiba plant.
Manage people with a focus on team development and motivation.
Ensure compliance with Beiersdorf's defined Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and procedures.
Oversee investments made at the PC.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Production, Chemical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields.
Years of Experience (in the area):
3 years of experience in Process/Manufacturing Engineering.
Special Requirements:
Previous experience as a Process Technician or Project Manager is desirable.
Strong expertise in Engineering and project management.
Extensive knowledge of industrial processes and serial line Filling & Packing systems, mixers, homogenization systems, utilities, and water treatment systems.
Skills to lead improvement groups.
Proficient oral and written communication in English.
