As Financial Accountant – RTR (France), you will be at the heart of Global Finance Services in Hamburg, working in an international environment on daily accounting and tax topics.

You will take full ownership of accounting activities for France and ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance. This role offers a broad and engaging scope across financial accounting, closing activities, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

Main tasks:

• Perform end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) accounting for France
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in line with Group guidelines
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (IFRS and French GAAP)
• Ensure accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and provisions
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis o Maintain strong G/L ownership and accounting documentation
• Handle intercompany reconciliations and transactions
• Responsible for various taxes and statutory reporting (e.g., VAT, CIT, local filings)
• Act as key contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, Group policies, and local regulations
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Shared Service Centers and business partners
• Deliver accounting results on time and with high quality, measured by defined KPIs
